Morrissey Family Roofing provides customer and building specific annual and quarterly maintenance plans to ensure you maximize the potential of your new roof system or extend the life of an existing system. Our proactive approach is intended to remove the potential of a leak at a frequency that is specific to your needs, timeline and budget and will give you peace of mind knowing your roof system is being looked over by a professional and will be ready to perform when needed.
Our Preventive Maintenance includes:
- Visual inspections: Checking for missing or damaged shingles, cracks, blisters, and signs of wear on the roof surface.
- Gutter cleaning: Removing leaves, debris, and sediment from gutters to ensure proper water drainage.
- Flashing checks: Inspecting flashing around chimneys, vents, and valleys for damage or signs of leaks.
- Debris removal: Clearing away leaves, twigs, and other debris from the roof surface.
- Minor repairs: Addressing small issues like loose shingles, small cracks, or minor leaks promptly.
- Moisture checks: Inspecting the attic for signs of water damage or dampness.
Roof Repairs
Repairs are the reactive actions taken to fix a specific problem that has already occurred, such as replacing damaged or broken flashings, shingles or accessories. We place repairs into two separate categories to address the needs of our customers in any situation.
ROUTINE REPAIRS:
Routine repairs are preferably identified during the process of routine and regular maintenance and before the repair becomes an emergency. Routine Repairs are beyond the scope of a simple single loose shingle or flashing and is a scheduled service with a fixed scope and cost. During routine maintenance we make every effort to match colors of existing materials and make the repair as good as, or better than new.
EMERGENCY REPAIRS:
Emergency repairs are the least desirable repair. Our goal during an emergency repair is to stop the leak and prevent further damage to your home or office. Emergency repairs are temporary repairs and will be addressed in the safest and most economical way with minimal intrusion into undamaged areas. Emergency repairs are followed up with a permanent repair completed at a later date.

A service can include both maintenance and repairs, and often involves preventative measures as well as addressing existing issues.
